Can CURB remind me?
Yes. Tap your curb on the map, then Sweep alerts: a push the evening before and 30 minutes before it starts, on Santa Monica time, or put it in your calendar. An overnight sweep gets one alert around 9 PM the evening before. On iPhone, add the map to your Home Screen first.
Is CURB free?
Yes. Free, with no account and no ads, and open source on GitHub. CURB started in San Francisco; the Santa Monica map is built on the City's open data.
The City's holidays.
Street sweeping stops on these holidays, and CURB's colors and alerts skip them.

Where the data comes from
The City's street sweeping map data (Santa Monica GIS, updated September 2026, ODC-By) gives every curb its own line, day and hours, written without AM or PM: daytime windows are read from 9 AM to 5 PM as on the signs, and Pico Blvd's three nights a week as 3 to 6 AM. Each curb line was put on the side of the City's street centerline it runs along. The posted sign always wins: temporary signs and holidays override everything here.
