Can CURB remind me?

Yes. Tap your curb on the map, then Sweep alerts: a push the evening before and 30 minutes before it starts, on San Jose time, or put it in your calendar. An overnight sweep gets one alert around 9 PM the evening before. On iPhone, add the map to your Home Screen first.

Is CURB free?

Yes. Free, with no account and no ads, and open source on GitHub. CURB started in San Francisco; the San Jose map is built on the City's open data.

Holidays

The City's holidays.

Street sweeping stops on these holidays, and CURB's colors and alerts skip them.

The receipts

Where the data comes from

The City's street sweeping routes (Department of Transportation, data.sanjoseca.gov, CC BY 4.0): only the routes with no parking signs, where tickets are written; streets without signs are swept monthly too but get no tickets. Residential hours are the sign's two windows around a lunch break; the major road windows come from the City's posted text for each side, placed by compass. The posted sign always wins: temporary signs and holidays override everything here.
