Can CURB remind me?

Yes. Tap your curb on the map, then Sweep alerts: a push the evening before and 30 minutes before it starts, on San Diego time, or put it in your calendar. An overnight sweep gets one alert around 9 PM the evening before. On iPhone, add the map to your Home Screen first.

Is CURB free?

Yes. Free, with no account and no ads, and open source on GitHub. CURB started in San Francisco; the San Diego map is built on the City's open data.

Holidays

The City's holidays.

Street sweeping stops on these holidays, and CURB's colors and alerts skip them.

The receipts

Where the data comes from

The City's street sweeping schedule (Stormwater Department, data.sandiego.gov, updated May 5, 2026): the 3,363 blocks with signs, of 28,141 swept; blocks without signs are swept too but get no tickets, so they are left off. The schedule names each side by compass ("NS", "SES"), drawn on the side of the street line facing that way; where that is unclear, the City's own street sweeping tickets of the past year decide. On 105 blocks whose tickets show the two sides' days reversed, the two are swapped. The posted sign always wins: temporary signs and holidays override everything here.
