Can CURB remind me?
Yes. Tap your curb on the map, then Sweep alerts: a push the evening before and 30 minutes before it starts, on New York City time, or put it in your calendar. An overnight sweep gets one alert around 9 PM the evening before. On iPhone, add the map to your Home Screen first.
Is CURB free?
Yes. Free, with no account and no ads, and open source on GitHub. CURB started in San Francisco; the New York City map is built on the City's open data.
The City's holidays.
Alternate side parking stops on these holidays, and CURB's colors and alerts skip them.

Where the data comes from
The rules are the broom signs in NYC DOT's sign inventory (Parking Regulation Locations and Signs), read from their text. Each sign order names its street, cross streets and side; CURB walks the City's street centerlines (CSCL) between the two cross streets, guided by the signs' own points, and puts the rule on that side. ASP is also suspended for snow and emergencies, announced the same day by 311 and Notify NYC. The posted sign always wins: temporary signs and holidays override everything here.
