Can CURB remind me?

Yes. Tap your curb on the map, then Sweep alerts: a push the evening before and 30 minutes before it starts, on Los Angeles time, or put it in your calendar. An overnight sweep gets one alert around 9 PM the evening before. On iPhone, add the map to your Home Screen first.

Is CURB free?

Yes. Free, with no account and no ads, and open source on GitHub. CURB started in San Francisco; the Los Angeles map is built on the City's open data.

Holidays

The City's holidays.

Street sweeping stops on these holidays, and CURB's colors and alerts skip them.

Where the data comes from

Days, weeks and hours come from StreetsLA's posted sweeping routes. StreetsLA doesn't publish which side of the street is swept on which day, so CURB placed the 900,142 street cleaning tickets written since January 2025 on their block and side by address, and gave each side the day its tickets fall on; a block with no tickets takes the side of the nearest ticketed block on its street. Where neither tells, both days show on both sides. The posted sign always wins: temporary signs and holidays override everything here.
